This pitching instruction time is designed for players that will be entering 10U thru 14U in the 2020 season who are interested in some small group time.  Instruction is by Amy Huett, owner of The Windmill Factory and will have a 3:1 pitcher/instructor ratio for each time slot.  Amy has held a number of pitching clinics for CYSA and is currently the Pitching Coach for numerous area Fastpitch Associations.   Amy is a transplant from Orange County, California as well as a former player for one of the country’s finest programs that is still reigning supreme today, the OC Batbusters. Amy, like her fellow BB teammates earned a full scholarship to the college of her choosing.  Amy has gone on to focus on teaching young pitchers, so they too could enjoy learning the disciplines of becoming the best pitcher they can be.

Amy has personally trained pitchers for 26 years. In those 26 years her students have been celebrated as National Champions, State Champions (Meagan Teal of Burnsville and Taylor Manno of Chanhassen), D1 Scholarship earners, Athena Award winners, Star Tribune Metro Player of the Year, Times Player of the Year, All-Metro Players, North Metro Player of the Year, Sports Illustrated recognized Brynne Dordel (former Chaska Hawk!) as a prime performer, State Strike out record holders and tournament MVP’s.  Amy has also guided her students to injury free careers using common sense and scientifically sound mechanics that are easy to learn. Her students are also known to yield better movement and speed due to the mechanics taught!  Amy is and will always be passionate in her approach to teaching today’s youth and continues to adapt to each new generation of athletes that seek to reach their potential, goals and dreams as pitchers!   It is not necessary to have a catcher for these sessions.  A catching net is available if you cannot provide a catcher.
